RFD-TV’s The American Calf Roping Qualifier
Premier Timed Events will be producing 1 calf roping qualifier for the 2018 RFD TV’s The American. The qualifier entries will be opened for a one month period starting September 1st and closing September 30th.
How its going to work:
Everyone competing in the Premier Timed Events qualifier must be a member of Premier Timed Events. Memberships are free and can easily be completed on the website or over the phone.
All contestants must enter the Premier Timed Events Open division in order to enter The American qualifier. The entry fee for the Premier Open is $25 (no extra fee) and the entry fee for The American will be $500 (+3% card card fee). In addition, per Ultimate Calf Roping rules, the official sanctioning body for RFD-TV’s The American, a $50 fee will be added to the The American qualifier fee. This is a service/membership fee that Ultimate Calf Roping charges to all non-members or contestants that are competing in qualifying events for RFD-TV’s The American and is not produced by Ultimate Calf Roping. This $50 fee goes straight to Ultimate Calf Roping and will not be seen in the jackpot’s winnings.
All jackpots will be based on Premier Timed Events’ official rules (calf roping rules link). All jackpots will be 3 head averages. Each entry must consist of 3 separate/individual run and videos.The same calf can be used all 3 times, but each submission must consist of 3 separate runs on that calf. Furthermore, a contestant can enter the qualifier as many times as they would like between the open and close of the books. Each entry will consist of a separate entry fee and will need 3 new runs.
Example: 10 entries from the same contestant will consist of 30 individual runs/video (3 per entry) $591.50 in total fees per entry and a total of $5,915 in fees for all 10 entries.
Premier Timed Events is responsible for the payout of its Open division. Our jackpots are entry fees are $25 with 80% payouts paying 1 money for every 10 entries.

RFD-TV’s The American will be responsible for paying out the qualifier portion of all the entry fees. Once Premier Timed Events receives the entry fees on our website we will immediately send the qualifier portion of the entry fees directly to RFD-TV’s The American.
The qualifier entry fee will breakdown as follows:
$500 entry fee (+ $50 Ultimate Calf Roping Fee + 3% credit card fee) = $566.50
$125 goes back to the qualifying event
$125 goes to the semi-finals
$250 goes to The American
$50 goes to Ultimate Calf Roping
$16.50 is the 3% credit card fee
The qualifying spots for the semi-finals at RFD-TV’s The American will be issued the same as every other qualifying event.
1-5 entries = 1 spot
6-10 entries = 2 spots
11-29 entries = 5 spots
30-109 entries = 10 spots
For every 10 entries over 100, an additional qualifying spot will be awarded!
*If there is a tie for the final qualifying spot a separate tie breaker event will be held between the tied contestants.

Everyone competing in the Premier Timed Events qualifier must be a member of Premier Timed Events. Memberships are free and can easily be completed on the website or over the phone.
All contestants must enter the Premier Timed Events Open division in order to enter The American qualifier. The entry fee for the Premier Open is $25 (no extra fee) and the entry fee for The American will be $500 (+3% card card fee).
